Animal therapy has been shown to help people cope with mental and physical concerns; the interaction with a well-mannered animal can reduce blood pressure and improve overall cardiovascular health. The use of animal therapy is a tool unique to Dorset Pier Mental Health; we believe that anything we can incorporate in to counselling sessions that can improve your comfort, alleviate pain and reduce stress is our responsibility to share with you.
